We've been blessed this summer with lots of Butterflies, Birds but no Ducks!!  Some years we didn't have any bunnies around, but this year they are back in abundance.  Here are a few images of Butterflies fluttering in the Flowers.

Beginnings with my freeform work

In the beginning, I dreamt up the freeform style I practice now and proceeded to try it out.. My boyfriend was watching me make it and said how ugly he found it. I told him to be patient, I had a vision in my mind. 3 days later when my first bracelet was finally done, he looked at it and said ; How Beautiful!! Goes to show, follow your bliss, your heart and your visions : )

Back on track

I totally forgot that I had an online Blog..Life has been chaotic and we've been on the rollercoaster, but all's back to calm now. We moved to Quebec City and back in the meantime. We opened shop and closed down as well and now back to the mountains and dwelve in creativity. Have posted a few items to Etsy this past week, and have more items to come and am researching the fine art of photographing my artwork..

Easy Peasy Homemade Almond Milk

1 cup almonds
1/4 cup raisins or any other sweetener, when i have local maple syrup that's what goes in my milk!
water to fill your blender.

Soak your almonds 24 hours in a dark place ~put a sticky note so you don't forget it's there
Rinse them and put in blender. If you've never tasted 24 hour soaked almonds then taste one, you'll see they're a delight!! (note preferably organic almonds)

Soak your raisins 20 minutes before rinsing the almonds.
Add the raisins with water into the blender.

Fill the blender with water and blend

When the water is milk, which is about 2 minutes or more or less of blending as you wish,
then sift the solids from the milk and set aside the raisin/almond solids to make cookies, cakes, deserts, bread, etc..

Put milk in glass jar and keeps for 2-3 days in the fridge

Enjoy : )

p.s.I've been doing this recipe for over 10 years now and don't remember where I read it, so if you know the source, please do let me know. I don't remember either if a friend showed me

2nd try at digital scrapbooking

I'm going digitalscrapbook crazy, can't get to my workshop because of I'm full time with my two little ones now!! Mateo just turned two on wednesday and we celebrated with yellow balloons. Raphael is 11 months now, so I'm with them most of the time. Digital scrapbooking is easy for me now because I can leave the computer on and when they are playing I can sneak to the computer and add a few elements or extract a photo, ha!

Here's my second try. It's of one of my oldest longtime sweet, dear to my heart, friend. We've been together through thick and thin and although we live miles apart, she's always close to my heart:

my first try at digital scrapbooking

I received a gift certificate for Christmas from my friend for www.scrapbookgraphics.com It took me hours to find what I wanted, because I have slowspeed and also because there are so many amazing digital artists on this webpage.

I lucked out when my neighbour came over yesterday and taught me photoshop so that I could do this!!!

The kit I chose was "just a little boy " by Soval and that's my Mateo when he was 3 months old :
